Palm Springs is a desert resort city where many people travel for summer vacations and is located about 2 hours east of Los Angeles and 2 hours northeast of San Diego. It is one of the nine cities that join to make the Coachella Valley. It is sometimes called the “Playground of the Stars” by locals. It is a relatively small city with a great amount of history. It sits right at the foot of San Jacinto Peak, one of Southern California’s most majestic mountains.
