Performing arts in the area consist of the Virginia Opera, Richmond Ballet, Richmond Symphony, and the Richmond Coliseum music venue. Richmond doesn’t have a professional sports team, but does have a triple A minor league baseball team, USA Rugby team, and a US Soccer League.Richmond is home to the Richmond International Raceway which has 2 annual Nextel Cup races.
