Tucson is located about two hours southeast of Phoenix and only an hour north of the US-Mexico border.It is sometimes referred to as the “Old Pueblo.” Travelers who find themselves in downtown Tucson will see there are many historic buildings and attractions, such as the historic Hotel Congress that was designed in 1919, the Art Deco Fox Tucson Theater, also a historic building designed in 1929. On the south side of town you will find Tucson Electric Park The west side of Tucson is both urban and suburban, and sits on the Santa Cruz River and at the bottom of the Tucson Mountains.Here you will find Saguaro National Park, Sentinel Peak, Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, and Marriott Starr Pass Resort and Spa.In north Tucson travelers can visit the humungous Tucson Mall.
